If you have any other place to park your vehicle(driveway or garage), the pass costs approximately 4 times as much as if you don't. Oh yes, and here's the best part, there is a waiting list for these passes and the current approximate waiting time for a parking pass on our block is 3 years. And this is for the residents. Visitors (and anyone working on your home) just can't stay longer than an hour without risking a ticket, which are given out liberally. Who made you buy them? I've never understood the point of making the bed all fancy and then leaving for the day. Who sees it? Honestly, I cannot think of any other politician who was so ripe for the picking. He didn't even have to try at it. I will agree with you on all the damn cords that clutter up the counter. People will probably start building little cubbies with outlets in them when they update their kitchens to hide that crap. How else do you get around it?
